Class of 1984 40th Anniversary Photobook
Dear All,
The event committee would like to seek your help in sharing any Class of '84 photographs you may have discovered in your storage and belongings. In light of our upcoming 40th Anniversary event, we are striving to collect all the precious memories during our old school days(especially the primary school years)to compile a photobook. With the powerful cameras available on our smartphones today, it’s easy to take a steady shot of the photographs and send them to us for further editing and sharing at the event.
We offer two convenient ways for you to send the photographs from your smartphones. From now until 20th October 2024:
1. Email:Take photographs with your smartphone camera and send them to our mailbox:
This is the preferred method, as it retains image resolution without data compression. We also welcome retouched images from any photography experts eager to achieve perfection.
2. WhatsApp: You can send photos to our number +852 6483 0219 if this is more convenient for you. However, please note that instant messaging often compresses data, which may reduce image quality, even if you have the best smartphone camera.
IMPORTANT:
We like to focus collecting the period during our old school days. To help us organize the photographs meaningfully, please provide the essential information about each photograph you send. Here is an example:
- Time: September 1983 (required)
- Place/Event:Field trip to Beijing (Required)
- People: Henry Kwok, Sebastian Chan (Required)
- Other info: Graduation trip (Optional)
- Photo provided by: Sebastian Chan (Optional)

TIPS:
- Take the photo in good lighting, avoiding glare or reflections.
- Ensure the entire photograph is within the camera frame; we will handle cropping and alignment.
- Lay the photographs as flat and steady as possible.
- Don’t worry too much if the photo isn’t perfect; we will enhance them as best as we can.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Alex Chan at 9269-9868 or Douglas Lam at 9083-7001. We hope to collect as many memories as possible with your help!
